Spring Cooking Class for Food Service Staff: The March cooking class for DJUSD Student Nutrition Services staff focused on new recipes around spring salads, wraps and pizzas. Davis Community Tastes District Delicacy: The DJUSD Student Nutrition Services participated in the annual Davis Chamber of Commerce fundraising event “A Taste of Davis” on March 18th. The district, along with dozens of local restaurants and catering services, offered small tastes of favorite dishes – in this case, samples straight from the school lunch menu! The public was often surprised to hear that this delicious food is served in school cafeterias in Davis!
