The Pioneer Garden program, nearly 20 years old, has a long history of support from its teachers and parent community. The program currently has over 30 volunteers who help facilitate biweekly lessons or lunch club for TK-6th grade students. This year, students will plant seeds, nurture vegetable plants, harvest, cook, and engage in activities that encourage them to explore nature and take positive steps towards environmental sustainability. Every winter, students and volunteer parents make wreaths for the Annual Rosemary Wreath Fundraiser. Wreaths sell for $10 each and all proceeds benefit the garden program.
