Ordering Your VF Meal for Home

We are excited to announce the details for how you can feast at home during the 2020 Virtual Village Feast, Saturday October 17 from 1-2:30pm. We have six different options, so there's something for everyone! Options (explained in more detail below) include prepared meal pickup or delivery in Davis or Sacramento, CSA box delivery for many locations in Northern California, or cook-at-home using recipes written by The Village Feast Co-founders Ann Evans and Georgeanne Brennan (see The Davis Enterprise article here).

Our 2020 Food & Wine Partners include The Davis Food Co-op, Farm Fresh to You, Pannier, Bella Bru and Hawks Provisions and Public House. Please see below for details on what each is offering and how you can order.

PRE-MADE MEALS (available for delivery or pick-up)

Pannier (Davis)

The pre-made meal, available via delivery or pick-up in Davis includes:

  • Baguette with Aioli, Walnuts & Olives

  • Grilled, Roasted and Fresh Local Vegetables

  • Herbed Fingerling Potatoes & Beet Cured Hen Eggs

  • Rancho Gordo White Bean Salad with Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Slow Roasted Tomatoes and Shallots, and Frilled Mustard Greens

  • Provencal Herb Roasted Chicken or Roasted Cauliflower with Sauce Pistou

$40 per person plus tax and optional gratuity

Optional add on: Local Fruit Galette with Honey Creme Fraiche ($9 serves 2)

The menu will be available for pick-up and delivery in Davis only (limited availability) on Thursday 9/15 (2-6 pm), Friday 9/16 (2-6 pm) and Saturday morning 9/17. Ordering for the Virtual Village Feast will be available beginning Wednesday, October 7th on our website, www.pannierfoods.com

Bella Bru Café (Natomas, Carmichael, and El Dorado Hills)

The pre-made meal, available via delivery or pick-up includes:

  • Aioli

  • Grilled Sweet peppers and Eggplant

  • Boiled Potatoes

  • Local Organic Hard-cooked Eggs

  • Vegan White Bean Salad (Rancho Gordo beans, fresh herbs, olive oil, sea salt)

  • Grilled Chicken Thigh/Leg with Lemon and Herbes de Provence

  • Bella Bru Bakery Epi Baguette, Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Bella Bru & Moonshine Trading Company Pear & Honey Tart

$32 per person plus tax and optional gratuity

Optional add on for purchase: Berryessa Gap Vineyards Goza! Rosé of Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc or Barbera.

Menu available at all three locations – Natomas, Carmichael, and El Dorado Hills from Oct 15 - 17 for dine-in lunch and dinner, or pick-up at cafés or via delivery by Door Dash.

Hawk’s Provisions + Public House (Sacramento)

The pre-made meal for 2, available via delivery or pick-up includes:

  • ½ Pint Aioli

  • ½ AMCE Baguette

  • Hard Cooked Eggs (2), Halved

  • Black Pepper and Bay Boiled Potatoes

  • Grilled Baby Carrots, Red Onions, Beets, Napa Cabbage, Champagne Vinaigrette

  • Grilled Mushroom and Butterbean Salad, Torn Herbs and Olive Oil

  • Oven Roasted Chicken Leg and Thigh, Thyme Jus and Grilled Lemon, Roasted Mirepoix

$35 per person

Farm Fresh to You

Choose from Aperitif Box or Grande Aioli box complete with recipes.

The Aperitif Box (olives, walnuts, prosciutto, crackers, cheese and honeycomb) has what you need to kick off your feast. $54 each

The Grand Aioli Box is filled with CSA ingredients to make the main dishes for your own Grand Aioli feast at home - to round out the meal, purchase protein (lamb, white fish, or chicken) at any fine grocer or butcher shop and your favorite Yolo county wines available at the Davis Food Co-op and many fine retailers. $65 each

The Davis Food Co-op

Order your 3-pack Yolo County wine sampler for in-store or curbside pick-up or shop Yolo County wine display throughout the month. Pack features two estate grown and bottled wines – Tinto Rey Rose of Tempranillo by Matchbook Wine Company and Berryessa Gap Vineyards Tempranillo – plus Dry Creek Chenin Blanc made from grapes grown in Clarksburg. Pack available for curbside pick-up or in-store purchase beginning Oct. 9.
