Accepting Garden Grant Applications Now!​
Davis Farm to School is offering a grant opportunity for Davis school gardens. Grants provide up to $500 per school. Matching funds are encouraged but not required. Grants are open to all Davis schools (public and private), seeking to enhance, improve or start a school garden. Applications are due February, 6th 2024.

Funds are for direct support of Davis school garden programs and use for the grant may include:

Purchase of seeds, plants, supplies, or equipment;

Stipends for Garden Coordinators;

Professional development opportunities;

Garden curriculum; or
-
Supplies and materials for projects that enhance connections between the school garden and the classroom, cafeteria, or waste reduction program.

We know that distance learning can be difficult and we understand how important it is for students to have access to engaging activities.
