School's out! (almost)

Our dedicated volunteers at DF2S were working harder than ever this past year as we adopted a new composting program at all elementary schools, supported school gardens and school garden to cafeteria activities, and saw expansion of new waste reduction and garden programs into secondary schools. We're also reorganizing as we coordinate our activities with the county-wide mission of Yolo Farm to Fork, our new nonprofit sponsoring foundation. We still have events to plan for this summer--our annual Custodian Luncheon, school site "Walkabouts," and preparation for the Village Feast. Thanks to everyone at DF2S for all your hard work this past school year!
